{"id":21560,"date":"2024-02-11T15:08:20","date_gmt":"2024-02-11T14:08:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=21560"},"modified":"2024-10-03T15:44:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T13:44:56","slug":"working-towards-an-inclusive-research-landscape","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/en\/news\/working-towards-an-inclusive-research-landscape\/","title":{"rendered":"Working towards an inclusive research landscape\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-free-section section\"><div class=\"container xl:max-w-screen-xl\">\n<p>Driven by the shared goal of showcasing the diverse pathways of women in science within Luxembourg and inspiring young girls to follow their scientific passions, the institutions comprising Research Luxembourg have once again united for the third season of the video series \u201cWomen &amp; Girls in Science\u201d, in collaboration with the Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"one-month-to-celebrate-women-and-science\"\n    >\nOne month to celebrate women and science\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign starts today, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, with a teaser video introducing the 6 women featured in the campaign. To show a glimpse of what different science journeys can look like, the video series present six women, each representing different institutions, scientific focuses, backgrounds, and roles. Whether they are a PhD candidate, research scientists or a professor, the narratives shared in this third season encapsulate the diverse array of career opportunities available in the field of science and research in Luxembourg.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each video serves as a captivating narrative, providing insights into the personal and professional journeys of these women in science in Luxembourg. Viewers will gain a deeper understanding of the motivations guiding their choices and the invaluable messages they wish to convey to young girls harbouring a keen interest in science.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brace yourselves for a compelling exploration of the varied world of women in science.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"two-successful-first-seasons\"\n    >\nTwo successful first seasons\u00a0\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cWomen &amp; Girls in Science\u201d highlights the narrative of diverse women scientists in Luxembourg, their achievements, and personal journeys.
