First published in 2010, the Journal of Intercultural German Studies (ZiG) is a peer-reviewed open access journal which offers a scholarly forum to the discussion of current issues of interculturality studies in the field of German literature, cultural studies, and linguistics.

ZiG as an Open Access journal

ZiG has been published under open access conditions since 2021, which means that it is made digitally accessible and available free of charge on the platforms of the transcript publishing house and the Melusina Press of the ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø, with all the academic research advantages that such digital platforms provide. This also applies to all previously published issues of the journal, which are also freely available. However, there will be no formal conversion. ZiG is also still available in print-on-demand.

The Journal of Intercultural German Studies is published once a year, featuring one section of thematically linked articles and a second section with articles on various topics related to intercultural German studies. We publish original research contributions, reviews, essays, and theoretical texts in German or English.

Zeitschrift für interkulturelle Germanistik bei transcript (transcript-verlag.de)

Peer Review

Only contributions (als Originalbeiträge) that have been positively evaluated will be published.

Notes for authors

Contributors should send their manuscripts with an abstract (in German and English) and five keywords (in German and English) in electronic form as a Word or RTF file to contact@zig-online.de

You can find instructions on how to format your contribution in our stylesheet.

Stylesheet (Hinweise zur Einrichtung von Manuskripten) (DE)

</use>

Publication Ethics

</use>

[147
44,197,340

ZiG - Institute for German Language Literature and Interculturality - FHSE research group I ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø
