Radar signal processing has the potential to simplify many aspects of our daily life – from personal safety, environmental cognition, communications, and much more. In a collaboration with SPARC, partners can benefit from long-standing expertise in radar signal processing, electromagnetics, systems modelling, wireless communications and hardware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Together with IEE, the SPARC group has been exploring how to use radars to monitor vital signs<\/a>. Their radar solution has been tested in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology from the Saarland University Medical School, Germany.<\/p>\n\nIEE is a global leader in automotive safety sensing systems for occupant detection and classification. The company also provides people and object sensing solutions that enhance building safety, security and management. IEE operates worldwide and employs about 1,400 people.
