Researchers with a broad background in scientific disciplines such as engineering, physics or natural sciences, with deep knowledge of a specific area, will find a supportive environment in which great emphasis is put on personal development and coaching. The group\u2019s main research interests are payloads, small satellites, edge computing and deep learning for payloads, in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) and distributed space systems, among others. They also focus on agile development for state-of-the-art space systems, as well as on creating entirely new concepts in space systems design. Prospective partners and entities seeking support with mission design and space system architecture design, as well as preliminary studies and prototyping, can count on the broad know-how of a team whose members have worked on numerous ESA and NASA projects, among others. An integral part of Luxembourg\u2019s vibrant space ecosystem, SpaSys seeks to innovate at the system level, offering new, breakthrough concepts for space systems. The group regularly collaborates with other SnT groups on topics such as AI and HPC, data analysis, and communications applied to space.
