The agreement for establishing Europe Direct ϳԹ (ED-UNILU) for the period 2021-2025 was signed by Prof. Dr Stéphane Pallage, Rector of the University, and Stephan Koppelberg, Acting Head of the European Commission Representation in Luxembourg.
Missions
Europe Direct ϳԹ is geared towards a broad audience, with the aim of informing students, researchers, teachers and the general public about issues related to the European Union’s history and current affairs, as well as reflecting on potential future challenges.
It organizes a number of lectures, seminars, discussions and exhibitions, and offers a wide range of information about the history of European integration, the EU institutions and the workings and policies of a united Europe.
Europe Direct ϳԹ maximises the potential of its location at the heart of the Greater Region, in one of the EU’s permanent capitals.
It makes a major contribution to citizen education, especially among young people, raising awareness about the European Union’s policies and helping develop teaching and research on European integration in Luxembourg.
